HM-34 Thermo Hygrometer
The pocket-sized Phoenix HM-34 Thermo Hygrometer provides
a fast and convenient way to accurately spotcheck relative
humidity and temperature. The HM-34 has been widely used
in the restoration industry for many years and has established
a solid reputation for accuracy and dependability. Considered
to be the best in the business because of its proven performance,
the HM-34 has become the industry standard by which all
other meters are now compared.
Manufactured
by the Vaisala company in Helsinki, Finland, the Phoenix
HM-34 meter will provide years of trouble-free service.
The Phoenix HM-34 meter incorporates Vaisala's next generation
HUMICAP® Sensor, which is accurate, durable and insensitive
to dust and most chemical contaminants. Both the humidity
and temperature sensors are housed in an extendable probe
that retracts back into the rugged plastic casing for storage,
creating a compact and easy-to-carry device.
The HOLD button
allows the user to retain a relative humidity (RH) or temperature
(T) measurement until it has been noted or recorded. When
left idle for three minutes, the HM-34 will automatically
switch off unless the HOLD function has been activated.
This automatic POWER-OFF function prevents the accidental
discharge of the HM-34's 9 volt battery.
