The DESICAiR DRY-700-35-E desiccant dehumidifier is designed for water damage remediation service. The DRY-700 is portable, self contained, and is designed for maneuverability in small spaces like building elevators and tight corridors. Engineered to operate under severe operating conditions, the DESICAiR DRY-700 uses desiccant technology to remove water vapor directly from the air. Removing water from the air reduces the air vapor pressure, which

improves evaporation. This makes the DRY-700 the logical choice for structural drying, support drying for mold remediation, and new construction building envelope drying. Since the silica gel desiccant does not rely on condensation, the DRY-700 provides drying well below 32°F dewpoint. Humidity can be controlled below levels at which moisture condenses on surfaces, thereby preventing corrosion, mold and mildew formation. The DRY-700 boasts a 9KW, proportionally controlled, electric resistance heater to provide the reactivation energy required to handle a variety of drying situations year round. Getting 700 cfm of dehumidified process air where it is needed is no problem with 2.5” external static pressure.

Phoenix has turned up the HEAT with our new FireBird Electric Heat Drying System. Powerful, Portable and Safe BTU’s wherever you need them – the FireBird can provide up to 31,000 BTU’s of instant heat to speed your drying.

At the 50-amp setting, the FireBird produces 31,000 BTU’s – that’s 360 CFM with a 80°F temperature rise. Imagine placing the FireBird in an area with below freezing temperatures and instantly producing 360 CFM of air over 100 degrees. Using the 30-amp setting the FireBird produces 18,000 BTU’s – providing a 46°F temperature rise. Internal 140ºF safety thermal cutouts prevent the FireBird from overheating the job while the FireBird’s externally located thermostat terminals provide the flexibility you need to control the heat from anywhere in the drying space.

The Phoenix FireBird offers multiple heating, ducting, and electrical options for on-demand heating from inside or outside the drying space. The FireBird will operate freestanding or with 12-inch flex duct on the inlet and/or outlet to distribute the heat precisely where you need it.

The FireBird is fully NEC compliant for continuous operation and features a built-in 50-amp twist lock receptacle designed to work with standard 30 or 50 amp power sources – select the setting by simply flipping a switch. The FireBird comes standard with two 4-pole grounded power cords, one for 30 amp outlets and one for 50 amp outlets. The FireBird employs a startup delay to prevent the potentially dangerous arcing/sparking that occurs with most other high-powered heating devices during plug-in. As an additional safety feature to ensure external surfaces are safe to touch, the heating elements are shielded within a double-walled and screened enclosure. An automatic pressure switch disables the heating elements if intake or exhaust ducts become blocked or airflow is cut off for any reason.

The Phoenix FireBird has combined the safety, security, and convenience of electric heat with the legendary reliability of our proven restoration equipment. The FireBird is a powerful drying tool – just another example of Phoenix Restoration Equipment leading our industry with innovative products designed specifically for the restoration professional.

One Ton (12,000 BTUs) of Cooling

The new Phoenix Arctic Max is the first portable air conditioner designed specifically for the Restoration Industry. The Phoenix Arctic Max boasts one ton (12,000 BTUs) of cooling capacity operating in 95°F and 60% conditions while drawing under 12 amps. In a single pass, this provides a 15 degree temperature drop on the 430 CFM evaporator (cooling) air stream and water removal equivalent to 100 pints per day.

The Phoenix Arctic Max gives the restoration contractor vital temperature control in the affected area to optimize drying efficiency or in unaffected areas to safe-guard occupant comfort. The Phoenix Arctic Max’s cooling power also makes it the ideal accessory to pre-treat air to improve the performance of desiccant or LGR dehumidifiers. When used in conjunction with the Phoenix Solution LGR performance amplifier, the Phoenix Arctic Max provides a reliable cooling air stream to maximize overall performance. The Phoenix Arctic Max features thermostatically controlled cooling to insure maintenance of desired conditions and prevent over-cooling.

The design of the Phoenix Arctic Max reflects our restoration expertise in its size, shape, functions and features. The stainless steel cabinet and durable construction are Phoenix trademarks. The integrated cart design and recessed wheels promise easy maneuverability, transportation, and storage. Set-up and operation is simple using the Phoenix window accessory kit, and a 15 amp outlet. The Phoenix Arctic Max also features filter efficiency options up to MERV-11, an internal condensate pump with 30 foot drain hose and 20 foot power cord. The Phoenix Arctic Max promises years of service and our “proven” performance.

The Phoenix 1200 desiccant dehumidifier’s robust construction is designed to withstand the rigorous conditions of water damage restoration, shipyards, off and on shore petrochemical facilities, manufacturing plants and the general rental industry. It is constructed primarily of stainless steel for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. Its compact foot print and relatively light weight allows you to place up to 3 units into the large SUV or van.

This desiccant dehumidifier has been designed from the ground up for simple, quiet, reliable operation under the harshest of conditions. It offers both constant-run mode for maximum drying and a humidistat controlled mode for sensitive jobs. Using 230 volt power for dehumidification the 1200 leaves all the standard 120 volt outlets available for your air movers. It’s dual 8inch process outlets allow you to run dry air to the interior as well as an attic or crawl space.

The Phoenix 1200 is energy efficient and high performing. The 1200 is a 230 volt – single phase unit with selectable 25 or 40 amp draw, removing 43 gallons of water per day at AHAM.

The Phoenix D385 provides the perfect combination of features and performance the restoration industry has been craving in a desiccant dehumidifier. Ingeniously designed to operate vertically or horizontally, the Phoenix D385 provides the wide operating range and ultra-low grains of a desiccant with the water removal capacity of the largest LGRs in cabinet dimensions identical to our popular Phoenix 200 Max.

The Phoenix D385 is not like the “toy” portable desiccant dehumidifiers that lack real capacity. The D385 delivers 385 CFM of ultra-low grain process air. The true four hole configuration allows the Phoenix D385 to be located in the affected area with the 75 CFM re-activation air stream isolated from the drying chamber. Three hole design units inherently pull unaffected and/or outside air into the drying chamber. The D385’s four hole design allows the restoration contractor to set-up for effective positive, neutral or negative pressure operation.

Designed to operate vertically or horizontally, the D385 will fit inside most crawlspaces. Having the D385 securely inside, rather than outside the crawlspace access, avoids the possibility of someone tampering with the unit. The 385 CFM of process air will provide 3 ACH on a 1750 square foot crawlspace with a 4-foot height or over 850 square feet of affected areas with 8-foot ceilings.

The Phoenix D385 is easy to transport and set-up. The D385 will fit on your truck in the areas already designed for your LGRs and will move on to the jobsite with the same portability. All the power to the unit is provided by two 115 volt grounded power cords. Simply plug the cords into separate 15 amp circuits. Each cord draws only 11 amps to power the D385. The re-activation air stream is ducted through 6″ flex duct provided with the unit and stores conveniently in the top of the unit.

The Phoenix D385 makes it possible for every restoration contractor to add the ultra-low grain performance of a desiccant with real water removal capacity to their equipment fleet.

The low price and high performance of the D385 makes it possible to purchase three Phoenix desiccants with a higher combined capacity, for a smaller investment than a single 1000 CFM competitive desiccant.

A New Era in LGR Technology

The new Phoenix Solution LGR performance amplifier widens the effective operating range of LGR dehumidifiers, increases grain depression, and improves water removal rates up to 100 percent.

The Solution is a specially designed intercooler that pre-cools the incoming air stream to the LGR dehumidifier. This pre-cooling is the same process that provides LGR dehumidifiers with their leap in performance over conventional dehumidifiers. The Solution is designed to take advantage of outside, unaffected or air conditioned air to provide significant water removal in drying conditions up to 140°F. Therma-Stor testing has revealed an increase in water removal rates and faster drying times using the Solution by utilizing cold outside air.

The Phoenix Solution marks a new era in LGR dehumidifier performance. Since the pre-cooling function of the Solution actually removes BTUs from the drying area, it reduces the dependence on air conditioning and the need to sacrifice drying equipment to maintain your optimal drying conditions. The Solution enables significant dehumidification while taking advantage of ultra fast, high temperature drying rates. This high temperature dehumidification performance is an upgrade to heat-only drying equipment which is otherwise limited by high dewpoint conditions. When outside grain levels are high, the Solution allows dehumidification to enhance the drying process.

The Solution improves the grain depression of the dehumidified air. This increases the vapor pressure differential (the key to evaporation) up to 33% and accelerates the drying process. This improves drying times in all classes of water damage but is particularly beneficial in specialty drying applications, such as hardwood floors.

The Solution is designed to nest into the top of the Phoenix HT and 200 Max and is constructed of the same quality materials. The increased operating efficiency of the dehumidifier provided by the Solution is often equal to the 1.6 amp power requirement of the unit. The Solution is easy to carry and stacks for transportation and storage.

The Phoenix Solution is easy to set-up. Simply remove the top and filter from the Phoenix 200 Max or HT, install the dehumidifier bracket, set the Solution into the top opening of the dehumidifier and slide forward into the capture guides on the dehumidifier bracket. Then, duct the inlet air of the Solution to either an outside, unaffected or air conditioned source, and duct the outlet of the Solution back to the same source.

High-Capacity LGR Dehumidifier

Our years of experience in refrigeration technology are reflected in the design of the Phoenix 300. Thanks to the manageable size and weight, the unit offers portability combined with performance.

The Proven Performance of a Phoenix

The Phoenix 300 Dehumidifier is designed to maximize the water removal capacity from a single 110-V, 15-amp circuit.

The multiple ducting options on the Phoenix 300 allows for ducting both the intake air and the filtered and dehumidified supply air. This makes it possible to easily combine the Phoenix 300 with a HEPA air scrubber, air conditioner or desiccant dehumidifier.

Like all Phoenix units, the MAX 300 features a stainless steel cabinet, internal pump with 30 feet of hose, and a five-year warranty.

Phoenix dehumidifiers feature significant air filtration. Even the standard 57% MERV-8 filters remove over 90% of seven-micron particles (the size of a human red blood cell). This filtration dramatically improves the air quality in the areas being dried and assures continued optimal performance of the refrigeration system.

The chart above shows the Phoenix 300 water removal rate at different temperatures and relative humidities. Phoenix dehumidifiers, with their superior design, achieve more water removal per kilowatt hour of electricity than any other dehumidifier on the market.

High Capacity, Low Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifier

The Phoenix 200 MAX is one of the most effective and versatile drying devices available on the market today. The 200 MAX removes more water and has more grain depression than other refrigerant dehumidifiers, even though it only requires 7.4 amps of electricity. When you combine this performance with the multiple ducting and air filtration options, it is easy to understand why the Phoenix 200 MAX is considered the ultimate in low grain refrigerant dehumidification.

High-Efficiency Design

The term LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) was created to describe the unique drying capabilities of the Phoenix 200 dehumidifier. Beginning with the original Phoenix 200 LGR, these units were known for delivering substantially drier air, as well as for drying areas to much lower specific humidity levels than conventional dehumidifiers. The Phoenix 200 MAX, an improved version of the original Phoenix 200, is the culmination of eight years of LGR manufacturing and design expertise.

As always, Phoenix dehumidifiers feature significant air filtration. This filtration dramatically improves the air quality in the areas being dried and assures the continued optimal performance of the refrigeration system.

The Phoenix 200 MAX offers multiple filter options. While MERV-6 and MERV-8 still can be used, Phoenix has raised the bar and now includes standard in all 200 MAX a 65% MERV-11. The optional 95% MERV-14 will remove particles as small as .3 microns.

Versatile and Durable

The multiple ducting options on the Phoenix 200 MAX allow for ducting both the intake air and the filtered and dehumidified supply air. This makes it possible to easily combine the Phoenix 200 MAX with a HEPA air scrubber, air conditioner or desiccant dehumidifier.

The Phoenix 200 HT is the ultimate in low grain refrigerant dehumidification and high temperature performance. The 200 HT is the first LGR dehumidifier designed to maintain maximum water removal capacity through ambient conditions up to 120°F.The Phoenix 200 HT, featuring its patent-pending technology, not only allows superior performance and greater CFMs in high ambient temperatures, but also exceeds the performance and efficiency of the original Phoenix 200 MAX under all conditions.

Faster Drying Means Happier Customers

The Phoenix 200 HT’s ability to perform in temperatures above 90°F offers two major advantages over other standard LGR’s. First, drying at higher temperatures speeds the evaporation of moisture in the structure when compared to cooler temperatures. Second, the Phoenix 200 HT reduces the need to remove drying equipment to control temperature inside the affected area.

The downward-focused exhaust airflow directs dehumidified low-grain air toward the floor, while a raised base improves drying directly under the dehumidifier. The Phoenix 200 HT also features a recessed condensate outlet, inboard wheels, increased airflow with higher static pressure and an improved skid plate design.

As always, Phoenix dehumidifiers feature significant air filtration. The standard 65% MERV-11 filter removes over 90% of seven-micron particles (the size of a human red blood cell). This filtration improves the air quality in the areas being dried and assures the continued optimal performance of the refrigeration system.

The multiple ducting options on the Phoenix 200 HT allow for ducting both the intake air and the filtered, dehumidified exhaust air.

High Temperature Performance

The Phoenix 200 HT is designed to maintain water removal capacity up through 120°F. In order to accomplish this, Phoenix engineers created a highly effective method of bypassing ambient air over the condenser when ambient temperatures are above 80°F.

Above 80°F – When used in high temperature conditions (above 80°F), the refrigerant pressure inside the condenser rises. By removing the grain control magnet from the by-pass openings, additional airflow is directed over the condenser and less airflow is directed across the evaporator. This airflow lowers the refrigerant pressure in the condenser while also slowing down the air across the evaporator, which allows the air to reach its dew point.

Between 50°F and 80°F – When used in normal dehumidifier operating temperatures (50°F to 80°F), the grain control magnet should cover the bypass openings. This allows increased airflow across the evaporator and increases performance by increasing the amount of air that is dehumidified.

Below 50°F – When the Phoenix 200 HT is used in very cool operating temperatures (below 50°F), frost will form on the evaporator coil as it dehumidifies. When enough frost forms, the defrost thermostat will initiate the timed defrost cycle. The cycle periodically turns off the compressor while allowing the blower to run. The grain control magnet should cover the bypass openings in this operating range because the increased airflow and static pressure will help defrost the evaporator more quickly and efficiently.
